Therapy Services

Jefferson county Public Health provides a variety of therapy services to homebound patients meeting the current guidelines.

Physical Therapy

Physical Therapists are available to perform an assessment and determine a recommended treatment plan. This service is ordered by a physician and coordinated by the Physical Therapists. Physical Therapy Assistants may also provide services that are supervised by the Therapist.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapists are available to assist individuals with activities of daily living, ensuring that individuals can perform daily functions safely in their own home.

Speech Pathology

Speech pathologists are available to assist in relearning speech and other communication skills.

Payment:

• Medicare
• Private insurance plans
• Private Pay Full Fee

 

Home Therapy Services are provided to anyone living in Jefferson County who is in need of service regardless of race, color, creed, sex, or national origin.
