Home Care Aide Services

Jefferson County Public Health offers the following Home Care Services. These services are provided by Certified Nurses Aides who come to your home. Services are provided during the following hours: MONDAY-FRIDAY 8 AM to 4:30 PM (Not available on Holidays)

Home Care Aide Services for Personal Care

This personal level of service requires a plan of care signed by your physician in addition to a supervisory visit from one of our Registered Nurses every 60 days.

Assistance with grooming needs may include bathing, hair and skin care, oral hygiene, shaving and nail care.

 

 

Home Environment Management/Homemaker Services

Light housekeeping services are available in order to help maintain a safe home environment.(This is not an industrial type of cleaning service.)

Services may include: dusting, vacuuming, kitchen and bathroom care, changing and making beds, light laundry service, and grocery shopping.

Payment:

• Sliding fee based on ability to pay
• Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance coverage for Home Care Aide Personal Services
• Homemaker services paid on sliding fee or waiver service
• State funding available for individuals meeting the current guidelines

Home Health Aide Services are provided to anyone who is in need of services regardless of race, color, creed, sex, or national origin.
