 12. U.S. Post Office Building

The south wall was recently rebuilt by the owner to help preserve the building  -  every effort was made to respect the integrity of the building with the choice of appropriate materials and the reuse of corner bricks.

"Louden Fairfield Iowa" is cast into the bottom of the cast iron columns.  Casting skills had increased greatly since the castings on building # 1.

This building was also built by Senator James Wilson, at the same time as building #11.
